I am writing to thank you for your steady support and leadership with regard to Israel, and especially during the recent conflict in Lebanon. However, there is one issue outstanding from that conflict that still deserves your immediate and close attention: that of the missing Israeli soldiers: Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, held by Hizbollah, and Gilad Shalit captured by Hamas. As well as Zachary Baumel, Yehuda Katz, Guy Hever, Tzvi Feldman and Ron Arad. There is currently no information about their location or well being. I urge you to do everything in your power and use all available diplomatic channels to bring these men home to their families, friends and country. As you visit Israel in the next week please keep in mind the plight of the soldiers. In your effort to achieve peace, bringing them home will be another step. I appreciate your immediate attention to this vital matter.
